The Tyrannosaurus rex lived about 70 million years ago and was one of the largest bi-pedal carnivorous dinosaurs. The name means "King of Reptilian Tyrants", and is arguably the most famous, which has built its reputation on its ferocity.
With a gigantic body nearly 40 feet long, a massive mouth with sharp teeth of 8 inches, Tyrannosaurus gives chills. This biped with small arms could exceed 20 feet high and weigh more than 6 tons! The articulation in the jaw highlights the impressive dentition of this classic predator.
